Sam Chambers (PhD) is an Assistant Research Scientist in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University. Dr. Chambers’ research at BMI has focused on bodily responses to extreme environments and the spatio-temporal patterns of border crosser mortalities. He integrates medical records, physical geography, climate data, and biomathematical models to improve our understanding of the effects of border infrastructure.
